Clubs and Activities

  • The "Get Fit, Be Strong" Team is looking for students who are interested in:
    -making new friends
    -playing Xbox Kinect
    -exercising
    -playing sports
    -learning ways to lead a healthy lifestyle

    If you are interested in being more actively involved here at your campus every Tuesdays -Thursdays from 3-5:30 P.M. please see Mr. Colorado or Mr. Ordonez for more information!!!!
  • Faith Fighters Bible Club is a student-led club that meets Fridays after school in room 108 from 3-4 pm.  The club is open to the entire student body. Members meet to pray, study scripture, share their faith, fellowship with one another, and grow as children of God.  Sponsored by Mr. Charles Galarza. 
  • Math Club currently meets weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.  We work on math concepts and problems and science to prepare for written,timed tests in 4 subjects - Number Sense (mental math), Calculator Applications, basic Mathematics and Science.  Students attend math meets throughout the year to prepare for UIL and the qualifying meet for State competition.  All three grade levels are welcome to join.  The tests are graded and awards are given for the top places in each grade level (6,7,8)- usually medals for top 3 and certificates for the remaining top 10.  Team scores are also given and calculated throughout the year.   • National Junior Honor Society meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. We are looking forward to a fun-filled, hard-working year in school as well as in all our extra-curricular activities. Our NJHS members are already busy at work with several community service projects. We are working the concession stand for all home football and volleyball games. Advisors: Keri Choat  and Ms. Resendez                     
  • The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering. Members apply and integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events and related programs. We meet every other Thursday with our students and prepare for Engineering Day, Regional and State competitions. If students place first in State they make it to Nationals.
