Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
My name is Mrs. Jimenez and it is my pleasure to welcome you, and your child, to a new school year at Nolan Richardson Middle School—Home of the JAGUARS!! I am excited about the unlimited learning possibilities that will arise for your child on a daily basis. I will be having your student for Language and Arts, (English and Reading). Please feel free to contact me as needed. During the 7th grade year, our students will be taking the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) test in the spring. Therefore, please encourage your child to begin assignments and projects in a timely manner. The second is to treat others as they would expect to be treated. The third is to be truthful—not only in speaking to his/her teacher, but through being truthful about where he/she stands academically. If a student needs help, he/she should ask for it. With these expectations in mind, we will uphold these simple-but essential-expectations:
