Student Support
Tue.,Wed., & Thurs. 2:50-3:35 P.M.

It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to assist and guide your student in becoming a successful mathematician.  I have been teaching math at Nolan Richardson for over 3 years now and I am also the head football coach here on campus, as well as one of the coordinators for our after school program, Get Fit Be Strong.
I expect your son or daughter to be fully responsible for their education and it is their obligation to exert their full effort in everything we do in and out of our classroom.  I also encourage each one of my students to immediately attend tutoring the moment a concept is not fully comprehended.  It is my responsibility that I offer each one of my students the opportunity to excel in our classroom and I expect everyone to come prepared and ready to participate in class.
Understand that homework is a non-negotiable and it is their chance to practice and eventually master the concept being studied.  On average, your son or daughter will have homework on a daily basis.  I recommend that you constantly check if they've completed their homework and assist them in managing their time.
With your assistance and guidance I believe we can mold your son or daughter into a bright, self motivated, successful young adolescent by the years end. If at any time you feel the need to contact me, please do so by calling our campus to set up an appointment during my conference period or feel free to contact me via email, elcolora@episd.org.

With Much Appreciation,
